The Men of Note and Kandace, a band with seven instrumentalists and one vocalist, performs from a library of over 400 special arrangements, all written by Bill Fulwiler, the original pianist/leader. The band's basic style is big band swing, featuring music originally performed by such groups as Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, and others.
